The Ultimate is filled with 100% Goose Down - making it the world's finest duvet. That's a dramatic claim. How can we be so confident? Well, real Goose Down is widely recognised as the perfect filling for duvets. It's light and airy with exceptional warmth retention - like sleeping under cover of clouds. It's also very difficult to find (and there are a lot of pretenders out there). Our Ultimate Duvet is stuffed with 100% Goose Down - no fillers, no nonsense. It's then covered with luxurious cotton jacquard, stitched to hold the filling in place, and edged with silver piping. If you want to make your bed the finest place in the house, there's only one choice.
What is the Difference between the Ultimate and Luxury Hungarian Duvets?
It's all in the filling. The Ultimate Hungarian duvet has 100% white Goose down as opposed to the Luxury Hungarian duvet which has 90% white Goose down and 10% small white Goose feather. The net result is that the Ultimate Hungarian duvet is lighter for the same level of warmth as the Luxury Hungarian duvet.
What is special about goose down?
The clusters of down from geese have longer filaments, making each cluster greater in volume than the down from other geese. We therefore need less down to get the same warmth retention in the duvet resulting in the Hungarian duvets being lighter. Additionally the quality of the down is better ensuring the duvet remains plump and filled for longer.

Once again delighted with products. Hungarian 4.5 tog, goose down duvet thin, so slightly concerned how effective it would be. I needn't have worried - it is light and warm. I bought the luxury wool topper to go under a Vi spring mattress as a protector for a slatted/pegboard bed base. It was much cheaper than buying from Vi spring and of course being all natural fibres still allows the mattress to breathe.

This is an excellent duvet. Thin and light but so cosy. Very pleased with it so far. Have had John Lewis goosedown duvets for 20 years so hope this will last as well! Will certainly use DAPW for my bedding in future.
Have not yet used the duvets as they were ordered for our summer holiday home, however the quality appears to be very good. Delivery was prompt and it was useful to be able to track delivery.

For this we have a hassle-free returns policy. If for any reason you are unhappy with your purchase, you can return it to use provided it is returned unused, in the original wrapping/packaging, and in a re-saleable condition within 7 days of the date you received the item.
On satisfactory return of the goods, we will issue a refund of the purchase price, excluding any postage or packaging charges.
For all returns we recommend you use registered post as we cannot be responsible for items lost prior to delivery to us where unrecorded delivery methods have been used. Please retain proof of postage.
