  • Justin Bieber Fans Beware: Selena Gomez Sleeping With His Face Pillow

Look away now if you are an avid Justin Bieber fan because you may not want to read on.

Many die-hard supporters and teenagers may or may not know that the pint-sized pop star has been dating Disney actress Selena Gomez for some time.

The two love birds have been keeping their blushing romance low key to avoid causing media headlines or upsetting some of the 8 million followers who are following the 17 year-old heart throb on Twitter.

But on a show presented by Ellen DeGeneres in American, Selena, 18, was put on the spot when questioned about her new beau.

And to make Bieber fans more livid, Ellen presented the young pop star with a pillow bearing Justin’s face.

“You know he’s going to make me sleep with that every night,” she said when given the Pillow.

Ellen gave the American singer the pillow as a gift in case they were missing each other; as Justin is currently touring the UK whilst Selena is in the USA.

It was only a year ago on the show when Selena adamantly denied any relationship with the “Baby” singer and said he was more like her little brother.

Ellen teased her for denying the teen love affair and later going public with the relationship but Selena explained: “I promise you, I didn't lie to you.

“He's just so sweet...I didn't know at the time,” she said.

  • Pillow Remote Control for Couch Potatoes

    Pillow Remote Control by Brookstone

Love a pillow fight? Well maybe this wouldn't be the best idea when using this newly released gadget; a pillow remote control.

Yes you heard me right, a remote control shaped like a pillow/cushion.

The living room pillow has a built-in infrared LED to make itself a six-in-one universal control, with codes for over 500 remote control devices.

Powered by a pair of AAA batteries, the pillow remote even features an auto-shut-off function to save energy.

But I'm guessing it might hurt you (and break the remote) if this bad boy was whacked over your head. So no pillow fights.

The pillow remote, which would be really difficult to get lost unlike normal remotes do, has sewn-in fabric buttons to change channels, adjust the volume and access a DVD player.

It could be said to be the best Christmas present ever for lazy people and couch potatoes; although we're still trying to work out how if you fall asleep on it, it doesn't change channels or switch itself on and off?

For quality luxurious duvets and pillows (that you can have pillow fights with), visit Duvet and Pillow Warehouse.co.uk today.

  • Prison inmates suffer beating 'sheet' attacks

Rather a disturbing story this morning, but it seems young prisoners at Forest bank Prison, in Salford, Greater Manchester are being tied up with bed linen and beaten by other inmates.

Revealed during an inspection, the attacks also known as ‘sheeting’, which were recorded on a number of occasions, have been condemned by the Chief Inspector of Prisons Nick Harwick as “serious bullying” which must stop.

It has been revealed that a young vulnerable man came forward and described how he was being tied up inside a duvet cover and ‘battered’ every night.

Mr Hardwick told the BBC: “A prisoner was forcibly put inside a duvet cover and the opening knotted so that he could not release himself while perpetrators carried out random acts of violence.

“Prisoners told us that it was common and we met a number of young people who had clearly been victimised in this way.

"We were concerned that for a small minority of prisoners, it was not at all safe and in some cases, prison officers on the wings had a passive attitude to bullying and unexplained injuries - however good the policies," he added.

According to the report Forest Bank, a privately-run prison for adult and young adult men, had 1,424 inmates at the time of the inspection between June 29 and July 9.

The A1 wing was where most of the incidents of sheeting took place and inmates identified "serious concerns about their safety", the inspectors said.

Now the chief inspector has called for the prison which is one of the largest jails in the UK, to investigate "the actual level of violence and bullying on A1 wing, use this information to inform the anti-bullying strategy, and work actively with prisoners to eradicate sheeting".

Michael Spurr, Chief executive officer of the National Offender Management Service (NOMS), said: "The issues about safety for some prisoners are however, a concern and they are now being urgently addressed by the director and his senior managers."

  • Fancy a nap in the office? Just pull out your inflatable neck tie!

Two guys from Utah have managed to make the necktie functional.

By making them blow up and act as a pillow, the duo have put together the new brand Pillow Ties.

The Pillow Tie is the invention of Tom Bowen, a former business student at Brigham Young University in Prove, Utah. The Daily Mail have said that the tie looks normal but has a larger not and can can be blown up in one breath and deflated in seconds.

Shawn Baxter, friend and business partner, said that Bowen had come up with the idea after his sister told him about a bad habit of her son sleeping in church.

"He used to sleep in church by rolling up his tied as a pillow," Baxter told AOL News. "Around that time, Bowen was taking an entrepreneurial class where the assignment was to crate a new product."

The idea came to light when Bowen thought sticking a pillow inside a normal tie would work and discussed the idea with his professor.

"The professor didn't think Tom could do it," Baxter said. "In fact, he laughed. However, Tom went to China and had it designed within four months."

The professor saw Bowen's results and graciously gave him the A he deserved telling the rest of the class that they would all be working for Bowen one day.

Now, 62 varieties of the Pillow Ties will be available at the 'inflated' price of £19.95; however the blow up part can be removed if the wearer wishes to simply wear a normal tie.

"We sell a lot of these to guys who hate ties or to women who get them as gifts for men who hate ties," Baxter said.

The sales are expected to rise as they believe many people will see the need to incorporate a pillow into a tie due to boring corporate meetings, sleepy church sermons, tiring wedding ceremonies, where a pillow will most likely be appreciated.

The two business partners have already seen their ties being worn in public without people realising they are in the company of the two designers.

"In fact we will see people we have never met wearing the ties and ask them and they claim they know the owners," Baxter said.

The pair are setting their ambitions high, saying, "We'd really like to see these on 'The Office," they said.

  • Man marries his pillow?!

Yes, you did just read that correct - a man in Japan has actually married his pillow!

Lee Jin-gyu fell for his 'dakimakura' - which is a large, huggable pillow from Japan, these types of pillows often have a picture of a popular animation character printed on the side.

Lee's pillow had an image of Fate Testarossa, from the animation series Mahou Shoujo Lyrical Nanoha - which probably means nothing to us here in the UK, but apparantly she is a popular figure in Japan, i wouldn't go as far as to marry a pillow with her image on though... that is a little extreme!

Lee is 28 and is known amongst his friends as a obsessive nerd when it comes to the animation series, married his pillow in a special wedding ceremonty in Japan, he even dressed the pillow in a wedding dress which was performed by a local priest?!

'He is completely obsessed with this pillow and takes it everywhere, they go out to the park or the funfair where it will go on all the rides with him. Then when he goes out to eat he takes it with him and it gets its own seat and its own meal.' said one of Lee's close friends.

Now i know people speak about 'loving' their bed, duvet and pillows - but this is one step too far!

  • How you sleep will decide upon the pillow YOU need!

asleep1. Determine how you sleep at night and how you set up your pillows before heading into the land of nod. This will give you a good idea of what type of support your neck and back needs while you sleep.

    2. If you sleep on your side you might want long feathered pillows to snuggle up to and one under your head that isn't as fluffy to give you a little bit of support.

    3. If you sleep on your stomach a flat pillow would suit you best to keep your back in alignment as well as offering just enough support for your neck.

    4. If you sleep on your back you may like to snuggle up on a feathered pillow similar to a huge feather bed.

    5. Search for fabulous discounts on the Internet. Duvet and Pillow Warehouse are offering up to 60 percent off some of their bedding pillows, including memory foam pillows and feathered pillows.

    6. Do you vary your sleeping position? If you do, you may want to vary the types of pillow you have on your bed and choose which bedding pillows you use each and every night.

    7. If you have recently had surgery or need extra support in bed, you many need a specific type of pillow that will conform to your body. The best pillow for this is a memory foam pillow which conforms to the shape of your neck and head giving you full support while you sleep.

    8. The more pillows the merrier when it comes to pregnant woman. Women who are heavily pregnant need as much support as they can get when it comes to sleep and feathered pillows may be an option to consider.

    9. If you suffer from back pain you may want to sleep on your back with a pillow under your knees or on your side with a bedding pillow between your knees.

    10. If you suffer from a lot of allergies you can purchase special pillows which minimise your allergies to give you that perfect night's sleep. Look out for hypoallergenic pillows or microfibre pillows on Duvet and Pillow Warehouse.

  • Pretend you are doing school work with the book pillow!

book-pillowsParents nagging at you that you aren't doing enough school work? Are you being made to sit in and read reams of revision books that are not so appealing to you, while sat opposite your television and PS3?

Well we have a quick fix solution to have them thinking you are working super super hard every night after school.

Now while we are keen to promote lots of fun in children's lives we still encourage you to work super hard throughout your study period to achieve the best results possible. So we recommend that you use this book as you are coming close to the end of your study period for the night to show mum and dad just how hard you have word, and they should give you a little bit of a break.

That way, you will be showered with more treats throughout your exam revision period, have less arguments with your parents that you are not doing enough work, and may get an hour or two at some point to play on your PS3 without the fuss or hassle.

However, don't use this pillow ALL the time. You should still revise and do as much work as possible to get the grades you want and deserve!
