  • Britney Spears Has To Take Her Fluffy Pillow On UK Summer Tour

We not long ago wrote about some of the arguable biggest divas in Hollywood and now latest reports suggest someone else should be thrown into the mix.

Britney Spears has spoken out how she has to have her fluffy pillow with her on her summer worldwide tour ‘Femme Fatale’.

The famous ‘Hold It Against me’ singer is about to embark on her UK tour this October but travelling so far across the pond means the American has to take with her a few home comforts to help her relax with all the travelling and not become homesick.

The 29 year-old pop star displays high maintenance when she told: “When I am on tour, I must have my pillow from home, I have to have my fluffy pillow. And I love shabby chic, so I would like to have all my dressing rooms and my bus done with shabby chic so because that is what my house is done out of, so I have the same feel as my home.”

She recently told The Mirror how much she loves the UK and her British fans, saying: “I’m so excited about bringing my tour there for them. I always have a blast when I’m in the UK and can’t wait to come back. I’m so proud of this show – it’s my best yet.”

Spears, who has just premiered her new song release “I Wanna Go”, is set to marry for the third time to her long-term boyfriend Jason Trawick.

The mother-of-two is kicking off her new summer tour to promote her new album and said on the ITV Daybreak show how she had missed touring: “Yes I have actually, it is a lifestyle, it is a way of life definitely. It can be kind of gruelling sometimes but for the most part, it is a lot of fun. You know, you are somewhere different every day and you don't know what to expect and it's just a lot of fun.”

Duvet and Pillow Warehouse’s pillows are so comfy that you will always get that homely feel when you fall asleep on them.

  • Rihanna And Britney Spears Send Feathers Flying In Racy Pillow Fight

Britney Spears And Rihanna Perform At The 2011 Billboard Music Awards Rihanna & Britney Spears Rock The 2011 Billboard Music Awards PhotosBritney Spears and Rihanna are no strangers to media outbursts and saucy headlines so the latest news is nothing of a surprise.

The duo caused a flurry of feathers at the Billboard Music Awards as they danced and sung in matching bondage-style bodices, fish-nets and handcuffs to their joint hit “S&M”; before ending it with a pillow fight.

The singers sent temperatures soaring as they entertained the crowd with sexy masks, kicky chains and topless dancers whilst provocatively pole dancing. But the grand finale was a pillow fight and a smooch on stage!

The heat-racing performance sent feathers flying through the air and let audiences reminisce back to 2007 when Miss Spears kissed Madonna live on stage too.

The 2011 Billboard Music Awards were held at the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas, Nevada and Britney surprised the crowd to perform her verse from their remix version of the song after RiRi, 23, took the platform.

Spears, 29, later rocked the show performing her hit song “Till the World Ends” alongside her Femme Fatale tour partner Nicki Minaj.

We feel sorry for the poor guy or gal who had to clean up the mess up after these sexy stars…

  • China City Amends Law So People Can’t Sleep In The Kitchen Or Closet

According to reports in a Chinese newspaper, Shanghai has changed its’ rental laws to stop people living and sleeping in rooms other than the bedroom.

The new policies soon to be put place in the city enforce that residents have at least five square metres to live in to stop the practise of overcrowded apartments.

The amendments emphasise the importance of space, limiting citizen’s ability to rent out rooms such as kitchens and closets. These practises are increasingly more common in Shanghai as rents rise; but the new regulations coming into force are to try and make people think twice about renting that extra space as a low-cost bedroom.

The new policy is prohibiting landlords from converting rooms like the bathroom into sleeping rooms.

It is reported more than 31 million square meters of floor space was rented in Shanghai during 2010, but of that number, 8% of the space was occupied by local residents, 88% by Chinese from elsewhere in China and a mere 4% by overseas residents.

Wherever one is sleeping, make sure you are all wrapped up in a cosy Goose down duvet, with Goose down quilts and a quality Pillow.

  • Pillow Talk Causes Drama With Celeb Joel Madden And Wife Nicole Richie

Celeb Joel Madden has shared his anger about his wife Nicole Ritchie with the rest of the world through the social networking site, Twitter.

The Good Charlotte lead singer took to Twitter to vent about his wife’s expensive taste in Pillows, tweeting: “Do you ever look at your credit card bill & ask your wife how the hell she could spend 3 thousand dollars on pillows? I do. PILLOWS.”

He then carried on ranting about the overly-priced pillows on the twittersphere, saying: “I mean can't we just go to Target and get our pillows???”

“Needless to say the pillows are going back to the expensive ass pillow store. Hope she likes the Target pillows i'm putting in their place.”

The American star showed his sense of humour by writing: “I was thinking they must be made from unicorn manes or some sh**” before making the firm decision “They are already on their way back to the store.”

The married couple, who have been together for four years, have two children together.

It’s great to hear that even high-earning celebrities are feeling the pinch at the moment and are still wary of their dough, especially when they have kids to think about…perhaps if they want the same quality Pillow but with an affordable price tag they should pop down to Duvet and Pillow Warehouse.

  • Pre-Valentine’s Day Pillow Fight: Flashmob Of Feathers

Social media networks are ever growing and the online platform is said to have hundreds of thousands of followers and users every day.

So you can imagine the power and influence it has, in gathering and bringing people together.

This is exactly the case in California, America.

Twitter and Facebook fans took to the Cesar Chavez Plaza, in San Jose the day before Valentine’s Day to host a Pillow fight event.

At midday nearly 100 people took to their Twitter feeds and Facebook postings and joined in a ‘flashmob’ of feathers; a good old-fashioned pillow fight.

Dressed to the nines in tutus, gorilla suits and pyjamas they came by car, bikes and train; some with their pillow tied to their back.

The twitterers and facebookers lined up on the streets and with a blow of a whistle they met in the middle in a fluffy frenzy.

No injuries or arrests were made, although many feathers were pulled out of people’s hair and even eyelashes.

It only lasted about an hour and then the organisers brought out brooms and bin bags to clean up after themselves.

Flashmobs tend to be groups of people organised by internet postings who gather in public places to do surprising, funny things such as perform a dance routine, or freeze and stand still down shop aisles.

The pillows fight marvel used to be performed at Justin Miller Plaza, in San Fransisco, America before city officials considered a crackdown when a pillow fight on a rainy day left thousands of dollars in clean-up costs.

  • Pillow Remote Control for Couch Potatoes

    Pillow Remote Control by Brookstone

Love a pillow fight? Well maybe this wouldn't be the best idea when using this newly released gadget; a pillow remote control.

Yes you heard me right, a remote control shaped like a pillow/cushion.

The living room pillow has a built-in infrared LED to make itself a six-in-one universal control, with codes for over 500 remote control devices.

Powered by a pair of AAA batteries, the pillow remote even features an auto-shut-off function to save energy.

But I'm guessing it might hurt you (and break the remote) if this bad boy was whacked over your head. So no pillow fights.

The pillow remote, which would be really difficult to get lost unlike normal remotes do, has sewn-in fabric buttons to change channels, adjust the volume and access a DVD player.

It could be said to be the best Christmas present ever for lazy people and couch potatoes; although we're still trying to work out how if you fall asleep on it, it doesn't change channels or switch itself on and off?

For quality luxurious duvets and pillows (that you can have pillow fights with), visit Duvet and Pillow Warehouse.co.uk today.
